What we collect

When you submit a pothole report, we collect the details you provide: location pin, area/postcode (if entered), photos, report notes, and technical anti-spam details needed to protect the service.

We do not sell personal data.

Location data

Location is used only for reporting potholes and map display. Your device location is only requested when you actively choose "Use my location" in the app.

We do not continuously track your movements and we do not follow your location in the background.

Photos, takedowns, and proof

If a valid takedown or image-change request is submitted with suitable proof, we will remove or update the relevant image/report data as soon as reasonably possible.

Contact requests remain open so we can continue to process removal requests where needed.

Retention and archiving

Reports and images are kept while the site is active and needed for the service. If the public service is retired, records may be archived for reference and accountability.

Even if data is archived, we aim to keep image-removal requests available and reviewable for as long as practical.

Safety reminder

Never put yourself at risk to take a photo. Stay out of live traffic lanes and only report potholes when it is safe to do so.
